During my business trip to Koh Tao, my director chose Echo Hostel for our accommodation. And I must say, it was a fantastic choice! The pristine beaches were just a short stroll away, allowing us to simply relax and unwind after a long day of work.

The only minor inconvenience during our stay at Echo Hostel was the bathroom.

During my stay at Echo Hostel, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. From check-in to check-out, I felt right at home thanks to their hospitality. The location of the hostel was perfect, with easy access to the pier and Sairee Beach. The bar area was great, offering beautiful sunset views. The dorm beds were comfortable, and the hostel had all the necessary amenities, including a good WiFi connection and spacious lockers. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Echo Hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Koh Tao.

Although the dorm rooms were generally comfortable, I found the arrangement of the bunk beds a bit inconvenient, especially when one bed was placed right next to the doors. This made it challenging to navigate and could potentially lead to accidents.

As a backpacker, I stayed at Echo Hostel for a week and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food, and it was a pleasant walk to nearby restaurants and bars. After a long journey, it was convenient to have the hostel located near the pier. The staff were remarkably friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Can definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel is excellent, just moments away from the pier and close to dive schools. the reception/bar staff were amazing, even offering advice and checking in on our diving progress. the lounge area was comfortable and spacious, perfect for making new friends. the chill area with a billiard table and couches provided a relaxing atmosphere with a view of the ocean.

The shared bathrooms were not up to par, with flimsy locks and subpar showerheads.

My recent stay at Echo Hostel was amazing! The rooftop bar with its breathtaking view of the sea was a highlight. I enjoyed hanging out there, meeting new people, and even joining in on some impromptu singing sessions. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, allowing me to check in four hours early. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with fancy curtains for each bed. Plus, the location was great for exploring the area.

One small inconvenience was that the toilets and showers were in the same small room, making the floor always wet. There were also times when someone was showering, and I had to wait to use the facilities.

Inviting rooftop bar: The rooftop bar at this newly established hostel was like a tropical oasis, where I could sip on refreshing cocktails and soak up breathtaking sea views. It felt like I was on top of the world, mingling with fellow travelers and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

Bunk bed gets shaky.

Super friendly staff, convenient location near the pier and beaches, great promotions and drinks, clean and comfortable dorm rooms with curtains, good working space.

Mind-blowing new hostel, AC in rooms with super comfy mattresses, spotless toilets and showers cleaned multiple times a day. Jaw-dropping rooftop bar for chilling and partying, only 5 mins from pier. Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff, great location, easy to meet others, comfy beds, good size lockers, friendly atmosphere.

Nothing not to like.

Had an awesome new year's at this hostel! the staff was super friendly and gave great advice on diving, snorkeling, and places to visit. the atmosphere was chill and I made new friends instantly in the comfortable and spacious lounge. the cocktails, breakfast, and meals were all top-notch. I loved hanging out in the chill area with the ocean in the background, playing billiards and lounging on the couches. the hostel was spotless and the bathroom and toilets were always clean. Everyone felt welcome here, it was a great vibe.

Only had one weird moment with a bar staff member who told me to leave the chill area one night, but we were cool the next day. Not sure what happened, but it didn't ruin my overall experience.

echo hostel koh tao was way beyond my expectations. super friendly staff, great location for exploring on foot, and easy to meet fellow travelers. stayed here after a previous visit to koh tao, and it was even better this time. rooftop bar was perfect for chilling and partying. highly recommend for a good hostel experience in koh tao.
